Cedar celebrated a great night at the APA Awards with industry recognition for their range of creative branded content.
Cedar, which produces multi-platform content for clients including British Airways, Tesco, Nikon and CLEA, won the best Travel and Leisure award for Do Not Disturb, for Best Western Hotels, edited by Cedar Editorial Director Mark Jones. The judges said ‘It completely throws the rule book out of the window. It demands you read it. The magazine actually made me laugh out loud in places, which is completely unheard of for a hotel publication'. Business Life, the highly respected and multi-award winning magazine for British Airways Business passengers, won Highly Commended in the same category.
Real Food, the multi-channel food magazine for Tesco, produced by Cedar and digital agency Reactive, won the award for the best Digital Solution, for it's ‘fantastic results ...and constantly up-dated top-quality content'. The judges particularly relished Real Food's range of ‘inspiring and practical' content, including over 2000 recipes, a weekly meal planner and click-to-buy functionality. Tesco's lifestyle magazine, Tesco Magazine was also Highly Commended in the Best Consumer Publication category. This was a first for Tesco Magazine, and follows a year of new creative appointments and significant development across all Tesco content.
