Tesco Real Food now one of the top 10 magazines in circulation in the UK

Real Food, the food magazine published by Cedar for Tesco, is now the eighth largest magazine currently in circulation in the UK, according to the latest magazine ABCs, published 12 August.

Launched in March, the quarterly, seasonal magazine is designed to communicate Tesco's passion for food, and features recipes, ideas as well as tips and tricks to help customers expand their confidence in the kitchen. Available in over 500 branches, it has a circulation of 1,250,000.

Its arrival means that there are now a total of eight free brand-marketing focused titles in the top 10, including Real Food's sister title, Tesco Magazine (also produced by Cedar), which is holding steady at number 4 with a circulation of 1,998,767.

Commenting on the news, Carolyn Bradley, Tesco UK marketing director, reiterated the magazine's purpose: "[Real Food is] designed for all customers, no matter what their level of skill in the kitchen might be. The magazine is supported by the informative Real Food website tesco.com/food, which features seasonal recipe ideas as well as an archive of over 1,000 recipes."
