Cedar wins at 2018 BSME Awards
5 JUNE 2018
We are delighted to announce that Matt Richardson has won the ‘Best Picture Editor’ category in the prestigious 2018 BSME Talent Awards.
Following on from our post that detailed the three Cedar employees nominated for the 2018 BSME Talent Awards, we are hugely proud to announce Matt Richardson has won the Best Picture Editor/Researcher category.
The British Society of Magazine Editors (BSME) represents over 150 companies across the industry, championing editorial excellence in both print and digital magazines. The awards recognise talent working in all roles across the industry, so for Matt to come top in a hugely competitive category, pipping five other shortlisted candidates, is very impressive. Matt works across many clients and titles including: British Airways (The Club and BA.com), Iberia (Ronda and Excelente) and Mandarin Oriental.
Huge congratulations also go to the other Cedar nominations:
Hannah Hudson, shortlisted for Best Deputy
Melissa Lawford, shortlisted for Best Editorial Assistant, High Life (British Airways).
The awards were announced at a ceremony last night and the full shortlist can be found on the BSME website.
Commenting on the nominations, Cedar’s Creative Director, Stuart Purcell said: ‘Many congratulations to Matt and the other members of the Cedar Team. It is fabulous to see Cedar continue its run of collecting gongs for its creative talents.’
