Cedar is a creative and commercial content marketing agency with offices in London, Hong Kong and Madrid.
We are looking for a Senior Insight Manager to join our Tesco team, working across print, digital and social channels. This is a hybrid role with 3 days in the office.
Working at our London office within the insight and strategy team, the successful candidate will be integral in leading content evaluation across these channels and developing insights generated from research and data into strategic opportunities for the brand.
Responsibilities:
Using data and qualitative and quantitative research from a variety of sources, the successful applicant will spend much of their time unearthing consumer insights to inform and develop strategic thinking.
The kind of work you’ll be doing day-to-day will vary, but will include:
· Using bespoke research projects and syndicated research to inform editorial content plans and create sector-specific trend reports
· Leading the reporting and evaluation for Tesco content, using analytics tools to build robust and compelling audience, content and channel recommendations
· Creating and tracking content KPIs for online and offline content
· Creating and updating bespoke digital dashboards for ongoing and one-off projects
· Designing, implementing, and analysing on-site surveys to measure content effectiveness and gain insights for content optimisation
· Presenting research analysis to internal and client teams
· Sourcing and editing relevant market news (desk research)
· Managing relationships with third-party research and data agencies to ensure Cedar has access to industry-leading tools and market insights
· Support on other accounts across the business with insights and research requirements as needed

Desired experience and knowledge:
· 4-5 years’ experience in a similar insight-led role
· Expert knowledge and extensive usage of syndicated research and data tools (e.g. TGI)
· Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, specifically using Microsoft Excel to sort and filter data and generate graphs/tables and Microsoft PowerPoint to create and format presentations
· Previous experience with client data and analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, client databases, social media analytics, sentiment trackers)
· A broad understanding of research methodologies and best practice for creating and managing proprietary research/data projects
· Previous experience writing and analysing surveys, including using survey logic and writing data table specifications desired
· Previous experience with qualitative research such as holding audience focus groups / interviews desired
· Broad understanding of media best practice across channels/platforms
